Effects On The Application Of Combination Actions In Competitions Of Sanda Because Of The Rules Modification

To make Sanda develops towards the athletics competitions with impetuosity antagonism and high strength as well as to make the athletes more civilianized, State Martial Art Administration Center made some necessary additions and deletions to the rules of Sanda (made in 1998) and issued the new rules recently according to the development requirement of Sanda competition form and technical style and competition form. The new rules focused on actual effects and practicability, restricted exertion of the formal"scoring without vigor"actions. It will no more be easy for one athlete to score tactically adopting the"overwhelming adversary with one attack"and wandering and shortstop. He must pay attention to the combination actions training and enhance the ability of utilizing the combination actions so as to make the competition developing towards the offensive direction while not the tactical direction. But the later development of Sanda and short of study on the combination actions influenced their use and progress. This paper chose"Tagou Wushu School Cup '2003 National Wushu and Sanda Championship"and"Shizhushan Civil and Military School Cup '2004 National Men's Wushu and Sanda Championship"as the study objects, which executed the old rules and new rules respectively. Using observation, mathematical statistics, questionnaire survey, contrast and analysis etc., this paper aimed at realizing the execution, implementation of new rules and the idiographic guides to technical actions of Sandal, revealing the inherence changing rules of the combination actions in Sandal competition, offering basis for coaches to establish training scheme, providing index to evaluate combination actions in competitions and laying a foundation to perfect technical system of Sanda.According to the research of this paper, we the main conclusions are as follows: before the rules modification taxis of frequency by using technical action fell from combination action, clasp and throw, leg skill, click, invalidation clasp and throw, fist skill click to throw following leg skill and drop, and score decreased as clasp and throw, drop, leg skill, invalidation clasp and throw, click, combination action, throw following leg skill and fist skill click. After the rules modification taxis of frequency by using technical action had no change while score decreased as clasp and throw, combination action, throw following leg skill, leg skill click, drop and fist skill click. Among the two-click combination actions in high levels, frequency of fist combination using increased evidently while frequency of fist and leg combination actions using decreased obviously; among three-click combination actions in high levels, frequency of fist combination using increased evidently while frequency of leg-throw combination actions using decreased obviously; four-click combination actions and more in high levels, frequency of combination using changed little. Among the two-click combination actions in middle levels, frequency of fist combination, fist throw and leg throw using increased evidently while frequency of fist and leg combination actions using decreased; among the three-click combination actions in middle levels, frequency of leg throw combination using decreased evidently while other combination actions using changed little; among the four-click combination actions and more in middle levels, frequency of combination using changed little. Frequency of all kinds of combination actions using in low levels changed little. As the competition turns increased by degrees, frequency of combination actions using decreased which was least in the finales. Clasp and throw was the chief factor that limited the using frequency of combination actions especially for the three-stick, four-click combination actions and more. The excessive centralized National Sanda Competition also influenced the athletes using combination actions in competitions.Suggestions were made such as focusing on the combination action training with single action assisted when making training plans. Based on consolidating single actions, exercitation time on combination actions should be increased. According to the athletes'characteristics in different levels, coaches should strengthen the pertinence training of the combination action for athletes. They should also set down the long-term complete and systemic training plan for high level athletes; reinforce training on leg skill especially the mid-leg and high leg skill as well as give priority to the fist skill training. Training for middle level athletes should focus on the integrated combination of fist, leg and throw so as to fully improve the technical system. Coaches should strengthen the pertinence training for small level athletes according to the new rules. They should also be able to attend the"Sanda Champion"competitions so that they can advance their strike skill. Referees on the competition should intensify judge and penalization on" passive resistance". Suggest the rules take out"clasp and throw"while withhold"swift throw following legs"and amend the National Sanda Tournament rules. Local periphery competition can be carried our first before the national finals so as to make the athletes have enough physical strength and vigor to treat each competition.
