Adaptation is crucial to the development of the children and adolescents. Online Learning is a new experience for College Students. The Online Learning adaptability of College Students has great influence on the present physical and psychological development of the students, further impact on the development in their adulthood, and it also has great potential value to the social development. So the learning adaptability of College Students in the Network Environment has been an important research issue.The subjects in the research are 455 college students randomly sampled from universities in Hunan Province and 238 Distance Learners randomly sampled from E-College of LAN Zhou University and Zhejiang University. The Learning Adaptability of College Students in the Network Environment Questionnaire; The Learning Adaptability of Distance Learners in the Network Environment Questionnaire are used as the tool of the research. With the help of the statistical software SPSS, the overall situation; characteristics and influencing factors of The Learning Adaptability of College Students and Distance Learners in the Network Environment have been investigated and analyzed.The result shows that:(1) The Learning Adaptability of College Students in the Network Environment was placed at the middle level. The Learning Adaptability of Distance Learners in the network environment was above the middle level.(2) The College Students' Online Learning Adaptability exists significant differences among Professional on Learning Attitude and Learning Technology. The students of arts do better than the students of sciences on Learning Attitude, the students of sciences do better than the students of arts on Learning Technology. The Distance Learners' Online Learning Adaptability exists significant differences among Professional on the Learning Method,Learning Environment and Psychosomatic Health. the adaptation level of the learners of arts is obviously higher than that of the sciences learners on the three factors.(3) Male college students in learning technology factor was significantly better than female college students and Male students in Learning Capability factor was significantly better than Female students from E-college . the other factor is not any significant difference between on gender.(4) The Learning Adaptability of College Students in the network environment exists significant differences among Grades; the junior's is the lowest, the freshmen's is the second, the senior's is the third, while the sophomores students show the highest learning adaptability.(5) The Learning Adaptability of Distance Learners in the network environment does not exist significant differences among different age. but the age of 25-35, 36-40, over 41 years old Distance Learners adapt to Learning Attitude than the age of 18-24, the age of 25-35, 36-40 years old Distance Learners adapt to Learning Environment than the age of 18-24, the age of 36-40 Distance Learners adapt to Psychosomatic Health than the age of 18-24.(6) The undergraduates' Learning Adaptability exists significant differences between College Students and Distance Learners. Distance Learners in Online Learning Adaptability factor except the self-assessment factor was significantly better than College students.
