As an educator in the field of higher education, we should not only be a practitioner of the harmonious campus construction, but have a fundamental and scientific perception of what is harmonious campus, how to construct harmonious campus. This article will discuss countermeasures of the construction of harmonious campus from the perspective of University Ideological and Political Education.University Ideological and Political Education, is a kind of education activity of all departments under the leadership of the Party Committee of the university. The guideline of the activity is Marxist theory, and the aim is to implement the education policy, teach scientific theory, improve both the theoretical quality of teachers as well as students, and the way they view the world and transform the world. University Ideological and Political Education is a relatively stable, dynamic process and state, it is campus-centered, adjusts all kinds of relations on campus and coordinates the relation between university and society, families, as well as the environment around, so as to form a scientific, impartial, reasonable, legitimate, orderly state that can both push forward education and cultivate highly-qualified students. On the one hand, the University Ideological and Political Education can guarantee the harmonious campus construction, it ensures the direction of the construction, ensures the implementation of the construction, cultivates talent person for the construction; On the other hand, the harmonious campus construction can accelerate the University Ideological and Political Education, accelerate the functioning of leading, educating, coordinating and inspiring.
