Three Sets Of New Curriculum Standards Compulsory High School Chemistry Textbook STS Educational Content Comparison

With the ascendant educational system reform in the world, the traditional education system in our country is facing en enormous challenges. In all of the reforms, the curriculum reform is an important link, the core of which is the contents of corresponding curriculum. In this paper, three different versions of chemical teaching materials, as compulsory subjects in high school of our country, has been selected studying objects.Basing upon the back group of the curriculum reform, the STS education philosophy, and requests of program of instruction (Curriculum standards), with the analysis and cooperation of compiles features and the STS educational contents in the three sets of chemical teaching materials, several merits and characteristics meeting to the development of chemical education in our country are concluded, providing some references for all of chemical teachers in high schools to understand the new curriculum standards and new contents of chemical teaching materials, to change the teaching ideas and fully realize the goal of chemical curriculum.This paper constitutes by four parts: part 1 elaborates the origin of this paper topic combining high schools' curriculum reform and STS educational ideas; Part 2 briefly describes the reviews and developments of chemical curriculum in high schools; Part 3 is this main research contents of this paper, including the comparison of the new teaching standard and original teaching program in chapter 3, STS education and the new chemistry curriculum in chapter 4 and STS teaching contents. Part 4 is the summary of this paper.
