Ideological And Political Education And Harmonious Campus Building

The Sixth Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Party fully analyzed the current situation and tasks and discussed the Decision on Major Issues of Constructing the Harmonious Socialist Society(followed as Decision). The Decision pointed that social harmony is the intrinsic nature of the socialism with Chinese characteristics and established a theory of Harmonious Socialist Society of the Party, which was the enrichment and development of the Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of the"Three Represents". It also be the latest theoretical achievements of the Party in the latest stage and the leading document that guided our Party to build a harmonious socialist society for present time and future.To achieve the harmony of the whole society must achieve each unit and cell of it. College as a basic unit and cell of social system, which is an important distribution center of knowledge , culture and technology and contains three basic functions of training , developing science and severing the community. It plays an important role to build a harmonious society. At the same time, the construction of harmonious campus and society depend on each other, promote each other. The former can provide the latter a powerful support on cultural, intellectual and technical; meanwhile, the latter also can supply a sustained impetus and political protection to the former. the harmonious campus develop a comprehensive development of socialist builders and successors, who will spread the harmonious concept of advanced culture and mature experience to the use of their respective jobs ,making an important contribution to the harmonious society .Comrade Jiang Zemin pointed out:"The ideological work of the Party is the lifeblood of the economy and all other work."Ideological and political education is the practical activities, which refers to the society or social groups with certain ideas , concepts , political views and moral standards impose a planned , organized influence to its members , aimed at forming ideological and moral which meet the needs of certain social or class. College student'ideological education aimed at putting their ideological and action consistent with the goal of opening up and socialist modernization through educating and impacting the students mainly in college. Giving full play to the ideological and political education of college students is the most important ideological and political foundation. It makes great significance for the building of a harmonious campus. Using all kinds of ways and means , is the ideological and political education in the practice of a real cohesion of the people , manage emotions , resolve conflicts and the role of social stability , so as to enhance the ideological consciousness of college students and establish a harmonious interpersonal relationships , maintaining and guarding the social stability and development .From this perspective, this article analyzed the ideological and political education in building a harmonious campus in a unique position and role, so as to provide a reference value of the theory and implementation of ways to build a harmonious campus.
