Acts of inhibition in the network is a two-edged sword. The research themes of "inhibition in the network contacts" is of important theoretical and practical value. Firstly, interviews, literature collection and other qualitative research methods were used to gather information to conduct a preliminary analysis of the language films coding; a group evaluation questionnaire prepared for the professional team was followed to evaluate the various indicators of network inhibition, and a reliability score testing was conducted after while; finally, the quantitative analysis was conducted and the statistical analysis method was used to explore the inhibition strength of Interpersonal Communication in the network to in different situations according to the results of group evaluation. The results showed that inhibition of Interpersonal Communication in the network had its own positive and negative effects. Internet users expressed their emotions more strongly in the network than in real life, and developed more intimate relations in the network than in real life. Meanwhile, Internet users also showed higher self-disclosure in the network. In different contexts, acts of inhibition showed significant differences, anonymous network communication predicted the occurrence of inhibitory acts. Gender, net- age, and total time in network can explain the inhibitory acts in the Internet in varying degrees. Meanwhile, gender differences exist in the inhibition of network contacts. Anonymous network contacts can effect the inhibitory acts to a certain degree, but of little influence overall, long-term network exchanges may not necessarily bring about negative consequences. Network user's network life showed a healthy trend. On the one hand, the researcher provided reliable, measured research tools of psychological significance to further study in the inhibition of the network contacts; on the other hand, through the scientific research on the influencing factors on the network exchanges, enrich the studies on the inhibition of network contacts, and provide the psychology basis for to mental health education practice in the network.
