A Preliminary Exploration On Students' Education Of Socialist Core Value System

In the new century, with the development of economic globalization, the internet's popularity, the establishment of socialist market economy and the continuous deepening of reform and higher education, the environment, ways, methods of ideological and political education of college students has been changed. Under the new situation, the party's Sixth Plenum of the 16th and the party's 17th most clearly put forward the building of a socialist core value system of a major strategic task. How put the socialist core value system into the national education and spiritual civilization construction of the whole Process is a pressing need to address a new topic.The article can be divided into three parts: the first part consist of basic elements and characteristics of socialist core value system. The second part put forward the importance of Socialist core value system of education. The third part of the article put forward some advice on how to strengthen the socialist core value system of education.To better understand college students'education status quo of socialist core value system, this paper, conducted a survey on students enrolled in 2005 of Xinjiang University, on April 10, 2008. The random survey of a total of 400 questionnaires, 320 valid questionnaires were recovered, the recovery rate was 80 percent. College Students socialist core value system of education has made remarkable achievements, but there are still some questions: There are still some problems in students'education on Marxist guiding ideology, the common ideal as well as honest and trustworthy, and law-abiding. And practical and effective measures should be taken.
