Education on the view of the nature of science has been an advanced topic in the field of international science education and has been paid much attention by many countries, also been written in the standards of curriculum of China. Owing to the different view of the nature of science,teachers usually apply different scientific methods in the curriculum and instruction,students also take different methods to study science and to solve problems they meet during life and working. Students'view of the nature of science is cultivated by their daily experience, school education and the social culture. It is not easy to be changed in a short period. Much more attention should be paid to the instruction of the nature of science and people must attach importance to it in all scientific subjects.The study focuses on the subject of improving the view of the nature of science. Part1 discussed the importance and the basic position of the view of the nature of science in biology teaching. Part2 reviewed the view of the nature of science in contemporary philosophy of science and science instruction. Part3 elaborated the theory and the methods of this study. Part4 brought out the instructional principle and the instructional methods of the nature of science in biology class and conducts instructional design and application。The plans of instruction designed in this part were used in the practice to judge the effect. Through the investigation of questionnaire, it is found that the instruction of the nature of science has not received the full attention ,there are some backward or unsystematic views about the nature of science and the instructional practice discovers that some certain methods, such as learning biology history, the process of inquiry, the philosophy views ,humanistic views and so on really do some profitable effect on the achievement grade of students and their idea of the nature of science. In the end some suggestions and thoughts were given to the continuous study on how to conduct education on the view of the nature of science in the field of biology education.
