Modern development in education imposes the theory of"Health First"on physical education in universities, which requires students to master at least two sports skills, form the habit of exercises and cultivate the consciousness of life-long physical education. Aerobics, as a popular sports in universities, has double functions for benefiting both health and heart. Various styles of aerobics provide strong guarantee to the realization of life-long physical education. Studies were carried out on how rhythms influence aerobics teaching by means of interviews, questionnaires, experiments and statistical analysis. It also explored into whether students'sense of rhythms could be enhanced, students'technical skills could be improved and interest in aerobics, sports exercises could be increased by cultivating sense of rhythms. Hopefully this article can serve as theoretical foundation for evaluating aerobics teaching effectiveness in universities. Researches show that:1. Application of methods stated in this article can make a big difference in cultivating students'sense of rhythms.2. Cultivation of sense of rhythms can make a big difference in aerobics teaching.3. Interest, learning capability and exercising likelihood in aerobics can be enhanced by cultivating sense of rhythms.
