Massive research prove that at most 20% of the life achievements turn over to the intelligence, 80% of that receive the influence of emotion intelligence. Just like many famous people can achieve the great achievements, the basic reason not only lies in their uncommon intelligence, but also lies in their superior emotion intelligence. The psychologists also discoverer that the intelligence quotient (IQ) is not the only determining factor that the human matures, the emotion intelligence is the key to subdue.Modern education attaches most importance to intelligence cultivation, it pays great attention to raising the knowledge, ability, the cognition skill and the skillful aspect, neglect to raising emotion quotient. In recent years, elementary education curriculum reform and various curriculum standard in our country all emphasize on raising student's emotion manner values, emphasize that education needs to pay attention to student's manner, the mood, the emotion as well as the faith, so as to promote student's individual development and the entire social healthy development. The practice proves teachers' good emotion quotient will exert a subtle influence on students. It helps to facilitate the realization of all-sided development education objective; to promote the creation capability of teachers and students, which in turn, helps to gain a better education effect. Therefore, teachers should set up the view of All-round human development, pay more attention to the mastery of emotional communication skill with students, carrying on the effective training of the emotion quotient to increase their emotion quotient.The year in middle school is the important period of intelligence development; it is also the critical phase when students' mood, emotion and moral character form, but their psychology growing must rely on the stimulation of external environment, mood and emotion regulation. The modern cognition psychologists believe that in chemistry learning process, the psychological factor is frequently at the front position. It is towing chemistry study behavior, affecting chemistry knowledge and ability development. Therefore, we should take seriously in raising the students' emotion intelligence while learning chemistry.This article has made a more thorough discussion on the theory of emotion quotient and applied practice in chemistry in middle school, and through the analysis of questionnaire and differences of emotion quotient and result between experimental class and comparison class, explains that the emotion quotient has the remarkable effect in applied practice in chemistry in middle school.
