Children is the hope of the future, to promote the healthy development ofchildren, to improve the overall quality of the Chinese nation, the construction ofmodern human resources power is of great significance. The state and society hasalways attached great importance to the growth of children, from aspects of thepsychological health education actively intervene in children’s physical and mentaldevelopment, has obtained certain achievements. However, we must be acutely awarethat the emergence of some subjective and objective factors for children’s healthygrowth, casts a shadow over the children appeared various kinds of physical andmental problems, the social development and personal growth generated huge harmchildren. Emotional intelligence is one of the important indicators to measurechildren’s physical and mental health, but only attaches great importance to the IQ andneglecting the cultivation of emotional intelligence phenomenon has become ahighlight of the social problems in our children’s growth process, mainly displays inthe self-centered, lack of unity cooperation spirit and communication ability, lack ofcompetition consciousness, lack of enterprise, etc., thus cultivating the children’semotional intelligence has very important significance.In this paper, using literature analysis, interview method, questionnaire survey,and methods of teaching experiment, investigation and study the influence of sportson children’s emotional intelligence. Experiments, selection of shandong teachnolosyof sun village primary school grade three of the two classes as experimental object, itcan be divided into the experimental group and control group, for12weeks of sportsgames and sports. Experimental group a series of sports games and sports intervention,control group for regular physical activity.The results of the study are as follows:Experimental group of primary school students after the experiment the socialadaptation ability, will quality, independence, interpersonal skills and mental healthcompared with before the trial, highly significant difference; And elementaryexperiment in the control group after the social adaptation ability, will quality, independence, interpersonal skills and mental health compared with before the trial,no obvious difference.The experimental group and control group before the experiment, the statisticsfound that based on the asymptotic distribution of bilateral inspection probability t>0.05, there were no significant difference on two groups of indicators; And indicatorsof the experimental group and the control group after the experiment analysis basedon the asymptotic distribution of bilateral inspection probability t <0.01, the index oftwo groups of highly significant differences. Thus, sports for children’s socialadaptation ability, will quality, independence, interpersonal skills and mental healthplays an important role in the development of emotional intelligence.Through a series of sports intervention, to improve and promote children’smental health, promote the formation of children’s moral character, to promote theimprovement of the children’s personality and the development of independentpersonality. Suggestions in the future pattern of school education, should increase theproportion of physical education, sports games and social practice class.
