Probability chiefly studies the data in real life and random events of the world. It could help people make a reasonable decision by collecting, arranging and analyzing of data and depicting of possibility events. It is not long before probability becomes a content of commom college entry examination. Because lake of developing time, the research on this subiect's education fell behind teaching, students still have problems on receiving possibility knowledge.After reading a large amount of articles, and taking Teacher Li Jun's research as reference, an investigation was made to know the situation of secondary about 370 students study possibility. Main methods are questionnaires and face-to-face inquires. Its target is to know what wrong concepts the students will have when studying possibility as well as the causes of these wrong concepts. Finally, during the teaching of possibility, the way should be improved, the teachers should lead students to transform the building process of possibility mould and the process of mould application. In that case, the students can gain situational teaching methed, observe and learn form real life and solve possibility problems correctly and cleverly.Teaching and research on the probability is the potential and rich areas, this paper is only a preliminary reseach in probability teaching in secondary schools to do a simple research, where there are still many gaps to be interested colleagues to study them.
