The 2011 Mathematics Curriculum Standard advocates that classroom teaching of mathematics should pay more attention to stimulating students’ interest in learning and cultivating students’ practical ability so that students can have enough time and space to participate in mathematical activities,such as observation and experiment.Mathematics experiment is an inquiry learning method to improve students’ learning initiative,which can not only cultivate students’ application awareness and innovation awareness,but also enhance students’ practical ability."Statistics and Probability" is an important part of mathematics learning and it also has a very wide range of applications in real life."Statistics and Probability" and mathematics experiment teaching complement each other,but in actual classroom,the development of mathematics experiment teaching is not very ideal.Therefore,this paper put forward some application strategies for the mathematics experiment teaching of "Statistics and Probability" in primary schools in view of the current application situation and existing difficulties.The research methods adopted in this paper include literature research,questionnaire survey and case study.The focus is on the analysis of the relationship between "Statistics and Probability" and mathematics experiment teaching.The current application situation and existing difficulties in mathematics experiment teaching of "Statistics and Probability" in primary schools were investigated.The application strategies of mathematics experiment teaching in "Statistics and Probability" were analyzed.The following conclusions were preliminarily obtained:By means of a questionnaire survey of some teachers and students,the current application situation and existing difficulties of mathematics experiment teaching in "Statistics and Probability" in primary schools were understood.The application strategies of mathematics experiment teaching in "Statistics and Probability" in primary schools are mainly as follows:(1)Reflecting the student’s dominant position and paying attention to the interest of mathematics experiment;(2)Paying attention to students’ hands-on operation and accumulate basic activity experience;(3)Reasonable use of information technology to demonstrate Mathematics Expertise;(4)Applying the thought method of permeating mathematics in experimental teaching;(5)Clarifying the purpose of experiments and choosing suitable contents to appropriately carry out experimental teaching.According to the above study,this paper selected two parts of the primary school’s "Statistics and Probability" teaching materials,and designed two cases of the application of mathematics experiment teaching of "Statistics and Probability" in the primary school.Finally,the paper made in-depth reflection on the existing problems and deficiencies of the research,hoping to provide reference for the follow-up research.
