Learning autonomy has been encouraged in the education field since 1980s. Under such environment, the physical education and the curriculum of physical education should regard pursuing learning autonomy as the value orient orientation, emphasize students principle part status, pay attention to students' ability of learning autonomy and help the students improve the sport accomplishment, making them dive into the study of sport, love sport, enjoy sport. However traditional physical education shackled the step of innovation, outdated thoughts and opinions, the teaching method whose main aim is to impart technique and skill to students, the physical education curriculum whose main teaching content is athletics and the evaluation mode which regard the result evaluate as the main method can not arose the students' enthusiasm and go-aheadism, therefore teaching would be recede in quality. This article with an eye to learning autonomy, it survey the students' cognition of learning autonomy and the status of learning autonomy in colleges and universities and accordance with the problems this article also advanced corresponding countermeasure in order to change old environment and improve the ability of students' cognition of learning autonomy.This article use investigation, material, visitation, logical analysis, statistic and other research methods. The research area is the colleges and universities in Nanjing; the research object is some students and teachers in the colleges and universities. This article investigate the factors that influence the sport learning autonomy of students in Nanjing colleges and universities and it also investigate the students cognition status of learning autonomy. According to the result that obtained from the investigation find out the factors that influence the students learning autonomy, analyze the factors that influence the students learning autonomv and find out the key of the problem and the way that can solve the problem, try to offer some theoretical and practical reference for improving the cognition of students' learning autonomy.The main conclusions are: the first is conclusion is that setting of Jangsu province some Nanjing colleges and universities' physical education curriculum are influenced by the traditional physical education system gravely and stay in a lay that regard the athletics as the main teaching method , the self-decision of the time and space of physical education curriculum is comparatively scarce; the second conclusion is that some Nanjing colleges and universities' sport playground, gymnasium and facility are far from the need of education and extracurricular activity which influence teaching quality negatively and can not create a favorable environment for students' sport learning autonomy, at the same time influence the cultivate of students cognize of sport learning autonomy; the third conclusion is that due to the angle and the ability of learning autonomy there exist differences on it between students' and teachers' cognition, it also influence the cultivate of students cognize sport learning autonomy negatively; the fourth conclusion is that due to a lot of factors from difference aspects, the students can not cognize lifespan sport adequately which leads to the absence of the cultivation of the ability of students' sport learning autonomy; the fifth conclusion is that traditional evaluation system mainly depends on result evaluation, neglect the progress students made in the process of leaning, so that hit the students learning enthusiasm and interest which leads to the un-objectivity and the injustice of evaluation results and influence the cultivate of students cognize sport learning autonomy negatively; according to the research conclusion this article advices that the conclusion is that relate the fact, change the opinion, give the students a lager space and privilege to choose freely;Improve teacher's quality, broaden teacher's knowledge domain, change education thoughts and change the state of teachers and students in teaching activity; enhance the publicize of lifespan (?)ort concept and cognition, deepen the cultivation of lifespa(?) sport cognition; pay more attention to process evaluation, will not judge a student by a single exam, create a favorable environment for students' sport learning autonomy. Generally speaking, in order to cultivate and improve students' sport learning autonomy cognition and the ability of sport learning autonomy we should induct reasonably and create conditions in all aspects.
