Research On The Strategy Of International Programs And Exchanges Of Tianjin University Of Technology

With the development of society and economy, world has become more and more open and its essential lies in cultural open and communication. Internationalization of higher education is a kind of worldwide trend, which means a process of cross culture and international research, social serve, exchanges and teaching cooperation.Internationalization is new requirement of the development of science, techniques, society and culture to Chinese higher education. Internalization of higher education is also an important strategic task in economic and scientific internalization. With the improvement of scales and levels of Chinese universities'international exchanges and communications, there are more and more foreign experts and students come to China, and more Chinese teachers sent abroad by their universities to get further education or join researching programs. All these methods are not only helpful for Chinese universities to follow the latest foreign achievements and ideas of advanced education, but also effective for us to broadcast Chinese culture and achievements. It is important for us to find out the value and problems, and to research the theory and strategies in the international exchanges and relations of Chinese higher education. This thesis is an achievement of solutions of all the questions above.It is a certain way of internationalization of universities in developing countries. But the key is to keep feature and strategic process of internationalization. Universities of China need to learn from other countries and cooperation with them. Only in this way, can our education serve our country better and make it stronger than ever. This thesis will explain the internationalization of higher education from five aspects, they are: the theory and meaning of internationalization of higher education, the invitation of foreign experts to China and sending Chinese teachers go abroad and study, joint programs in China and Chinese programs abroad, strategy and management methods of internationalization of higher education in China, and take Tianjin university of Technology as an example to research the method and theory.
