Since 1980s, the core issue of education reform in all over the world is improving the quality of teachers, teacher's professional development has become an important national trend in teacher's education reform. It is also becoming aware that, the quality of teachers is the key to success or failure of education reform.In Xinjiang, evolution of rural education, the key is to improve minority teacher's diathesis and enhance professional development level. Along with the implementation of new curriculum and boosting the "bilingual" teaching in rural areas, Uygur teachers facing both challenges and opportunities. Confrontation with the new curriculum ideas, new teaching materials, many rural teachers feel very uncertain about it. At the same time, the autonomous region set a criterion in Chinese language for "Bilingual" level of qualified minority teachers. This is an enormous challenge for Uygur teachers who teaching in rural primary and secondary schools.In order to develop and improve minority area's education, and teachers quality, since 2003, the state and the autonomous region financed a huge fund to increase minority teacher's "Bilingual" training . The total fund in this four years for Chinese language and bilingual teacher training is 130 million yuan. These measures brought thousands of good opportunities to Uygur rural primary and secondary school teachers in their professional development. In this paper, the author's research subject is, an effective way for rural primary and secondary school teacher's professional development in Kashi area, with a view to explore a suitable way for the professional development of teachers in these areas and to promote their professional developments have a very important practical significance.In this study, the study object is, Uygur teachers in primary and secondary schools in rural areas of Kashi, adopted case studies, application documents, questionnaire survey and interviews to complete the research. The main objectives of this research is, By analysing the documentation on the basis of the findings, to explore a suitable way for rural primary and secondary school teacher's professional development in Kashi Prefecture.The dissertation is contains four parts: the first part is the Introduction. Presented the proposal, the definition of related concepts, purpose and significance of the study literature, research object and methods. The second part is, analysis, status in quo and infection factors of Kashi rural area's Uyghur teacher's professional development. The third part is, introduce an effective way for Uygur teacher's professional development in rural areas in Kashi. Part IV, bring forward some recommendations for consult to expand channels of rural Uygur teacher's professional development.In allusion to the reality of Uygur teacher's professional development situation in primary and secondary schools in rural areas of Kashi was not that expedited, this study put forward, classroom teaching, "bilingual" training, information technology training, continuing education and training, educational and scientific research, school-based training, self-reflection, reading etc... To achieve the professional development of Uygur rural primary and secondary school teachers in Kashi.
