Chinese children developing outline (2001- 2010) regulates bringing equal consciousness of sex into education content , Program for the Chinese Women's Development 2001-2010, promulgated in 2001, clearly pointes out that "Bring the women education as a key target into country's education plan " ,and sex consciousness should be brought into the teacher training courses in the courses,educate content and teaching method , however, it does not arrive at every door discipline concretely at present. With the fact that the science of history studies expanding unceasingly, history educates transfer history information also with multivariant , open attitude, training history mental consciousness , bearing the responsibility of civil education and the humanity education. But, paying attention to the female, training equality sex concept ought to become an indispensable history education content.The article discusses the female image in current middle school history textbook , taking the following book as the sample: press of the people education junior middle school printing plate in 2001 , high school printing plate in 2004 , press of Beijing Normal University junior middle school printing plate in 2001 , press of East China Normal University compulsory education textbook and press of the Shanghai education high school printing plate in 2003, five set of altogether 29 history textbook .The article is composed of the following three parts: the preface, the text and the concluding remarks.The preface expounds the significance of erecting a problem, studies development at home and abroad mainly and studying thought.The text can be divided into two chapters. The first chapter analyses the female image in middle school history textbook, and finds that the current middle school history textbook exists sex inclination in female personage presentation format, showing mainly in the respect of three, one being that the history book is short of the female, Two is the female, who are mentioned by the book in the various ways, exist bigger defect, Three are by the writing style and tactics , the male sex's, the political nature utterance right writing in the textbook hold a leading post on the writing.The second chapter analyses the main causes bringing about these sex inclination and their negative effects. As to how to improve the textbook writing to overcome the sex inclination, four suggestions such as broadening textbook content, improving the concept of reading and editing system , perfecting a course with female visual angle and training the teacher correct sex concept have been given.Finally in the concluding remarks the author points out that sex role mental consciousness, sex concept culture are the problem related to the times and national spirit scene, and they are the issues that education reform must face. However, sex problem in middle school history textbook is a complicated comprehensiveness problem , and in every province there exist much parallel editions in textbook, so the author hope that the compile person and the extensive secondary school teacher go into action , pushing sex problem studying in textbook unceasingly to thorough.
