The Research On Undergraduates' Integrity And Its Evaluation Indicators System

Undergraduates are the hope and future of our nation, and they are also an outstanding young group with great vigor and creativity. University is the key phase in which the undergraduates form their stable world outlook, view of life and values which will influence them in future greatly. So, it is important to strengthen undergraduates' integrity and to avoid the integrity crisis.This dissertation tries to build up a set of scientific and reasonable evaluation indicator system focusing on the undergraduates' integrity, to provide an effective tool for quantitative evaluation of undergraduates' integrity, and then to take effective measures against insufficient factors to improve the undergraduates' credibility.On the basis of former researches related to the undergraduate integrity, this dissertation strictly defines the connotation of undergraduates' integrity, and analyzes its manifestations and theoretical origins; then, by analyzing the interview content, 42 evaluation indicators are selected from the following three dimensions: academic integrity, economics integrity and social integrity. To ensure a scientific and operational indicator system, we combine the theoretical construction with questionnaire investigation, using factor analysis method to screen these indicators. By doing so, 6 invalid indicators are excluded and the evaluation indicator system thus includes studies integrity, economy integrity, and social integrity four dimensions with 32 indicators left. According to these evaluation indicators, the dissertation promotes some construction proposals, hoping it can benefit the disciplined integrity of our high school.
