Construction Of Harmonious Campus Under The Context Of Harmonious Educational Thought

The 'Harmonious Educational Thought' finds its root in the depths of both the Western and the Chinese histories.In this new period,with the initiation of constructing a 'harmonious society',the 'Harmonious Educational Thought' has taken new steps both in content and form and from theory to practice.A harmonious society requires harmonious education,which firstly depends on harmonious development.It is reasonable to say that construction of harmonious education is not only one of the major tasks but also an important means for the construction of a harmonious society.Only through harmonious education can we bring up various harmoniously-cultivated competent people required by the society,and then promote future development of the whole society.Higher education is one of the most important elements of the whole education system and has its own distinctive development law compared with the education of other levels.Therefore,the harmonious development of higher education is only available through such important media as universities and colleges.Proceeding from the history of the 'Harmonious Educational Thought' in China and the Western countries,in respect of definition,connotation and the relationship between harmonious education and harmonious campus,this thesis reveals the importance and necessity of building harmonious campus in the new period,and based on the new scientific outlook on development, it also explores the approach for building harmonious campus in an all-round and solid way, proposes new ideas and ways for developing harmonious campus in the new period,provides certain theoretical reference for deepening the theoretical research of building harmonious universities and colleges and has certain importance in reality and practice.
