Comparative Research Study On The Non-Christianity Movement Of The St John's University And Yanjing University's Development

Both of the St John's University which was established In 1879 and the Yanjing University which was establish in 1919 are the church university which organized in China by American.Before the non-Christianity movement,the St John's University is the earliest one.It stated the prominent Institute of higher education,and it named as "East's Harvard", "the diplomatic talented person to foster the institute" and so on.It was reposed the myriad scholar's expectation and the dream;But the Yanjing University is unknown at the beginning. In non-Christianity movement,St John's University negated conservation,It defended the religious primary intention stubbornly,not willing to reform the society's development.The Yanjing University driving debugging positive transformation,adapts society's development diligently.After non-Christianity movement,the Saint John's University moves toward,the deterioration conservatively gradually,was inferior to the past greatly.But the YanJing University obtained the bigger development opportunity,ir developed into the famousest colleges which equelled with Qinghua,Beijing University.Compared with of development the two school,not only can help us understand the church university development in China but also can help us understand the higher education and the social development relations well.
