Study On The Development And Its Trend Of European Man Athletic Basketball

Europe is the first continent that basketball was introduced from American which dated back to 1893. European basketball has experienced a complex course in this century:from glorious to poorly-developed and to grow up in world basketball.In Europe,it can be divided into five periods: introduce and spread,stasis and resuscitate,Soviet Russia went best,South Europe contended for hegemony and fully development. Development of European man athletic basketball was affected not only by the principles of basketball itself,but also by factors like politics,economy,culture,sport system,league and international communication. Compared to basketball in other countries , European basketball was affected greatly by politic.Studying on the development history of European man athletic basketball and analyzing its causing factors will help to figure out the law of basketball,so as to provide instructive advice for the development of Chinese basketball.This paper studies on the development history of European man athletic basketball,using methods of literature analysis, data statistics, logic-comparative analysis and expert interview. This paper has divided the development of European man athletic basketball into certain periods and presented analysis at the same time, and has also predicted its trend. Basing on the status of Chinese basketball and the influence of European man athletic basketball,the paper has made some suggestion on the development of Chinese basketball.The paper has come up with the following conclusions:(1)The development of European man athletic basketball can be divided into five periods: introduce and spread,stasis and resuscitate,Soviet Russia went best,South Europe contended for hegemony and fully development,appearing obvious characteristics respectively. Compared to basketball in other countries,European basketball was affected greatly by politic.(3)Development of European man athletic basketball trends to different directions and world basketball will be led by the integrated style of European basketball.(4)From the development history of European basketball, Chinese basketball should establish instructive idea and tactical style,enhance the abilities of body contact and tactic performing,improve Chinese national team by better thequality and dimension of Chinese professional basketball,strengthen training for youngbasketball player.
