The College Students' Value Education Study Under The View Of Harmonious Society

The sixth of the 16th National Party Congress proposes a great policy to build a socialism harmonious society which brought up a new task for the party's ideological and political education work. That is how to improve and strengthen students' values education under the new historical conditions. To establish a value which adapts to the socialist harmonious society needs earnestly study and actively explore.This paper tries to do some preliminary research papers in this aspect. The paper wants to discuss four issues after proposing research purpose, significance and method. Firstly, it proposes the importance of college students' values education under the condition of building a socialist harmonious society. Then focus on the new requirements for contemporary college students' value education in a harmonious society. Based on the basic characteristics of a harmonious socialist society, the focus of honest and trustworthy, democracy, rule of law, and ecological civilization are for the utmost analysis. Individually, it expounded on the pursuit of values of the three harmonies of man and man, man and society, man and nature.Thirdly, to analyses values of current status of contemporary college students. On the one hand, the mainstream values of college students are in a positive, healthy and progressive state. On the other hand pointed out the main values issues and influencing factors of college students, which is incompatible with the socialist harmonious society.Finally, it proposes some countermeasures to solve these problems, including upgrading educational philosophy, adjusting the contents of education, expanding education means and improving the educational environment, therefore provide a useful reference to the current ideological and political education of college.
