To meet the needs of modern society and the education development,it is an effective way that cultivating students' meta-cognitive ability to make the students learn to study. This paper expounds the ideological origin connotation, function,assessment methods and development process of meta-cognition,and describes the ability of IT meta-cognitive from the perspective of information technology curriculum, meta-cognitive in IT means the self-awareness and self-monitoring capabilities of learners in progress of studying and learning interactive.Based on the meta-cognitive classifica ti -on of Dong Qi,I consider that meta—cognition in IT will be classified as:knowledge of meta—cognitive in IT,skills of meta-cognitive in IT and experiences of meta—cognitive in IT.the process of information technology study.According to literature investigation,meta-cognitive dimensions and visiting to some of the students,psychology teachers, information technology teachers,the author draw up the questionnaire of information technology meta-cognitive ability.The author cultivates the students' meta-cognitive through a pointed instructional design and classroom teaching, and then compare the pre-test and after-test meta-cognitive ability of experimental class and control class.The main conclusions of this thesis are:1.At the basis of substantial literature research,based on Dong Qi's structure models of meta-cognitive,this paper builds the concept and structural model of students' meta -cognitive ability in the information technology curriculum.2.the meta-cognitive capacity of information technology cultivation strategy is proposed,and put it into use in the actual practice of instructional design and classroom implementation,comparing with the general information technology instructions,I design two instructions models such as "reflection—problem-solving" and "monitoring—problem -solving" to facilitate information technology meta-cognitive ability cultivation.3.Finally,I test the two strategies cultivating students' meta-cognitive ability in information technology through a questionnaire survey,and verify the validity for improving the students' information technology meta-cognitive ability.
