The Dislocation And Crisis Of The Properly-matched Marriage In The Socal Reforming Acceleration Period

The divorce is not only one kind of social phenomenon which exists in the world now,but also a major marital problem in the reforming acceleration period of Chinese society.It directly affects individual rights and interests,family harmony and social stability,thus we must take it seriously.The marital is essentially the social stratum endogamy,and "the corresponded gateway" is the marrange's the foundation of social stability.The sudden rise of divorce rate in the reforming period drives us to ask what shakes the marital foundation? The "gateway" standard is in fact the social stratification standard.Then,can we think that the change of social stratification standard fundamentally shakes the marital foundation? This is the question to be answered in the thesis,and this also acts as the perspective the writer adopts to do the research.The reform of socialist system causes the standard of social stratification shifting form political consideration to ecnomic consideration,which is concretely displayed in the income,occupation and educatation The overall advancement and the unbalanced development of the socal reform cause the social members to diverge and to be dislocated overally rather than partly,fragmentally rather than synchronically.All the above stated reasons confront the marriage politically matched before the carrying out of the reform and opening-up policy mode with a tough situation of rematching in a renewed circumstances of income,occupation and education.But when the couple in marriage cannot match,the exchange of husband and wife's resources may lose its balance,and the divergences and conficts in the couple's values will arise,thus the opposing forces will be produced between the two families connected through marriage. All these may serve as fundamental factors which may lead to the unsteadiness and even the breakup of the marriage.According to the above analysis,this thesis holds that if the change of social stratification standard is realized within one generation of people,then the structural shake of the social marriage can be caused.Although the divorce of marriage become much easier due to the great change in social values and the expanding of social mobility in such a time of social reform,yet the view held by this thesis may be of explanatory significance.Since social mobility mainly concerns from the perspective of social individuals the fact that the phenomenon of divorce and the social values depend on the social being,the writer make a conclusion that the change of social stratification standard completed within one generation is believed to be the fundamental cause of the sudden rise of divorce rate in today's period of social reform.
