An Empirical Study On The Ecological Campus Culture Of Chinese Sports Colleges

The new century is the century of ecology. In the development of sports colleges, the purpose and characteristics of the colleges should be embodied, and the construction of ecological campus culture should be carries on. From the concept of ecological civilization, the construction of campus culture not only conquers the nature purely to build a better environment, more importantly, find a way on which man, nature and society live together harmonious.This research is precisely taking this idea as a starting point to analyze the ecological campus culture of Chinese sports colleges, and then proposes three assumptions. They are guiding by the concept of ecological civilization, displaying sports colleges own advantages and valuing the construction of humanities ecological environment. Under the guidance of three assumptions, questionnaire survey in Beijing Sports University, Wuhan Institution of Physical Education, Xi'an Institution of Physical Education, Tianjin Institution of Physical Education, the Institution of Physical Education of Hunan Normal University and Sports Science Institution of Jishou University, to obtain theoretically the present situation characteristic of sports colleges' ecological campus culture. In recent years, with the rapid development of sports colleges, the construction of campus culture has also made certain progress. The campus material environment is becoming more and more beautiful, and the student activities more and more various and colorful. However, there are many urgent problems, such as the cultural connotation's vacancy in the campus environment, the short of campus cultural activities on the form and content, and the positive campus culture have not been the mainstream values, etc. From analysis the multi-campus mode of Wuhan Institution of Physical Education, the advantages and challenges coexist in the ecological campus culture of Chinese sports colleges.For these problems, the paper attempts to put forward some strategies. (1) Taking the concept of ecological civilization as the guidance to achieve the sustainable development of the campus culture. (2) Exploring and strengthening the construction of humanities and social ecological environment. (3) Emphasizing the construction of campus spiritual culture. (4) Omni-directional carrying out more health and elegant cultural activities. (5) Maintaining the major characteristics and promoting the ecological campus culture with characteristics of sports colleges.
