Analyze Outstanding Man Player's Serve And Receive Technique And Tactical Arrangement In 2008 U.S.OPEN

With the rapid development of the modern tennis technology,player's technique is becoming more comprehensive,and some outstanding players do not have obvious weakness technique.Now,the time of players to win each point reduce from 12.2s to 5.99s.As the start of each point,how to arrange the tactics of the serve and receive,as well as the third hits and the fourth hits is playing a key role in the match.According to the 2008 U.S.Open match,this paper use literature research,video observation statistics interviews with experts in law, comparative analysis way,analysis the use of technique and tactical of the world's top players(Roger Federer,Rafael Nadal,Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray,Andy Roddick) in two phase:serve and receive.Then have the following conclusions:1 Phase of serve(1) The average speed of the first serve is between 170km/h and 196km/h. And the average speed of the second serve is between 140km/h and 153km/h.(2) ACE is concentrated in the wide and the middle placement,the number of the wide ACE is higher 42%than the middle.(3) The percentage of each placement in the first serve:wide＞middle＞body, in which located deuce zone;middle＞wide＞body,in which located advantage zone,the use of the wide and middle placement is over 70%no matter at deuce and advantage.Furthermore,the body placement in the second serve reach 61.6%,greatly higher than the wide and the middle placement.(4) Serve directly points account for the scoring of the game 1/4.(5) Winning%on 1st serve of each placement surpass 60%,and the highest winning%is opponent backhand's placement,peak at 78%.Winning%on 2nd serve is lower than winning%on 1st serve.(6) The use%of the third hits technique:forehand drive＞forehand(inside-out or inside-in)＞backhand drive＞backhand slice,the use%of forehand drive technology reached 63.4%.In the first serve, winning%of the third shot reach49.3%,players have strong attack initiative.Winning or losing points during the 2nd serve concentrated in the phase of stalemate.2 Phase of receive(1) The way of the 1st receive hits mainly use slice and defensive stroke.The 2nd receive hits mainly use forehand and backhand stroke.(2) The depth of receive relate to serve placement,the wide placement have more chance with the fore court ball.(3) The line of receive relate to serve attacking object.When the server attack the receiver's backhand,the receiver will consider the lower-risk stroke.When the server attack the receiver's forehand,the percentage of straight line,cross court and middle line take equal chance.(4) The second receiving ponints won%is 45.7%and the first is 25.9%.(5) The use%of the forth hits technique:backhand drive＞forehand drive＞backhand slice＞forehand(inside-out or inside-in).And the direction of the forth hits concentrate in opponent's backhand(44.2%) and forehand(38.9%).Winning or losing points during the forth hits concentrated in the phase of stalemate...
