| The present study was finished through the three at-depth field surveys in Shuanghaizi Village of Minghua County which is located in Yugur Autonomous, south of Gansu province.By the use of observation, depth interviews and other research methods, this study is undertaken to explore and analyze the changes of life style in ethnic minority areas from the perspective of farmers and herdsmen. Meanwhile, the present study analyzes the changes of the Yugur's life style caused by the change of Yugur's production from animal husbandry to agriculture so as to provide the cause and trends of this change.Firstly, the study introduces an overview of the survey location including environment, population, economic and ecological condition. Secondly, the study makes a research on the Yugur pastoralists'production change after relocation and the life style change caused by the production change. From both of material and spiritual aspects, the study presents the changes of the Yugur life style after the relocation including daily live, children's education, social interaction and customs. Finally, the study offers some opinions and suggestions about the change by the analysis of the causes and trends. It is practically significant to explore further development of the Yugur ethnic group.
