Happiness is the ultimate goal of life. In the current economic and social conditions, the people's pursuit of happiness is distorted by trends of the hedonism, materialism, alienation and so on. College students are the extremely precious human resources. They are also the hope of nation and the future of fatherland. Their happiness concepts impact on the progress of social civilization directly. So put education of happiness into practice is an important content of the moral education. Pressing contemporary college students to establish a correct concept of happiness, improving the quality and capacity for college students to pursue happiness, improving college students'life quality, these all have the vital significance to their future life and even the whole society's development. Put education of happiness into practice has an important meaning to strengthen and improve ideological and political education and improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education. The content of the education of happiness of college students includes: a proper happiness view should be cultivated; knowledge should be developed to help college students pursue their happiness; thanksgiving education should be promoted; the quality and capacity for college students to pursue happiness should be improved;"happiness lessons"should be initiated.
