Mathematical textbooks are import resource to execute mathematical curriculum objective and teaching, and also the central foundation of mathematical teaching content. The level of mathematical textbook writing influences the students to study mathematics and the math level of students, directly. The level of Japanese technology and education are advanced in the world. The Japanese science and technology indicates its mathematical education level is high. Based on the basic idea of Lower Secondary Mathematics Program in Japan, the paper discusses the content, construction and the character of lower secondary mathematical textbooks in Japan in details. At the same time, it gives some pieces of advice to our lower secondary mathematical textbooks writing, according to comparing the differences between lower secondary math textbook of Japan and China.The main content of the paper includes three parts.Firstly, introduction. It discusses the research goal and the meaning of the problem, the research condition of Domestic and overseas, the research method and the problems are going to be solved.Secondly, Lower Secondary Mathematics Program in Japan. It analysis the curriculum idea, the demands, the aim and content of new curriculum about Japanese Lower Secondary Mathematics Program in Japan nowadays in detail, it compares Lower Secondary Mathematics Program in Japan Nowadays to the past. In addition to, it concludes the content and emphasis are increased and decreased, it compares Lower Secondary Mathematics Program in Japan to the new math curriculum standard of lower secondary of China, at last.Thirdly, the textbook content, construction and character of lower secondary in Japan, it also analysis the textbook of lower secondary from different angles. Such as, the content, the construction and the design form of the textbook, and so on. it concludes the advantage and the disadvantage of the lower secondary textbook of Japan. Then, it finds the difference through comparing the geometry content , the arrange of example and exercise of lower secondary textbook of China to Japan, it points out the example effect of the writing idea of lower secondary textbook of Japan to the writing of our lower secondary textbook according to the modern condition of our country.
