With the development of the information age in the 21 st century,the requirements for talents tend to be compound talents with comprehensive quality.The Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)points out the establishment of interdisciplinary thematic learning activities to promote the linkage of various subjects and implement an integrated curriculum.Considering the current situation of students’ lack of financial literacy and the inheritance characteristics of mathematics textbooks,this paper mainly studies and analyzes the economic situation of mathematics textbooks in primary and secondary schools in China since the reform and opening up.This paper adopts text analysis,case analysis and comparative research.Firstly,the research on interdisciplinary economic situation problems in mathematics at home and abroad is sorted out,and the core concepts such as economic situation problems are defined.Secondly,from the horizontal and vertical perspectives,this paper reviews the compilation of economic situation problems in mathematics textbooks in primary and secondary schools in China since the reform and opening up.Analyzes how the content and context change,and what the arrangement and design characteristics are.Then,the students’ mathematical problem solving in economic situations was investigated.Finally,the teaching concept of economic situation problem in mathematics textbooks in primary and secondary schools in China is proposed.The study came to the following conclusions.1.Define the economic situation problems in primary and secondary school mathematics textbooks.The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" points out that among the four aspects of "situations and problems" that reflect the core literacy of mathematics,"context mainly refers to real situations,mathematical situations,and scientific situations,and problems refer to mathematical problems raised in the context".In other words,economic situation problems are practical problems related to the economic field that can be solved with mathematical knowledge,ideas and methods.2.Comparative analysis of the economic situation of primary and secondary school mathematics textbooks since the reform and opening up,the following conclusions are drawn.Firstly,from a horizontal perspective,the current domestic and foreign mathematics textbooks are analyzed,the number of questions in the economic situation of the current primary and secondary mathematics textbooks in China is counted,and the distribution and presentation characteristics are sorted out.Then,from the longitudinal perspective,the mathematics textbooks of primary and secondary schools in China since the reform and opening up are analyzed,and the characteristics and reasons for their changes with the years are analyzed at the macro level combined with curriculum standards and ideology.At the micro level,the change trend is analyzed from the two main lines of economic situation and mathematical knowledge,and these problems are divided into three categories: economic situation with epochal without professional terminology,era with professional terminology,and complex economic situation,and the analysis shows that the primary and high school mathematics textbooks have special terms of economic situation problems,but junior high school mathematics textbooks contain economic terms economic situation problems are rare.3.Investigate the answers to students’ economic situation questions,and conclude as follows.Junior high school students are difficult to grasp the problems of different economic situations with the same numerical relationships,and the examples of the average reduction rate of drug costs explained by teachers in the textbooks can be basically solved,and the problems that are not explained or assigned by the teachers after class in the textbooks are more difficult to solve,and the exercises in extracurricular economic situations can hardly be solved,especially the economic situation of bank interest.4.Put forward the ideas and suggestions of economic situation problems in primary and secondary school mathematics textbooks.Combined with the above analysis of the economic situation of primary and secondary school mathematics textbooks and the investigation of student solutions since the reform and opening up,the above problems are conceived,and four mathematical economic situations are summarized and analyzed,which connect primary school and junior high school,junior high school and high school,and high school and university,forming a complete system.At the same time,the teaching design of "Application of Univariate Quadratic Equation(Economic Situation Growth Rate)" was compiled for the ninth grade students to solve the difficult situation.Finally,it is proposed that the writing of economic situation problems in mathematics textbooks should be difficult to spiral,structured,epochal and themed.
