On The Development Of The Rank Of Universities' Political Assistants

Since 1950s, the system of rank of universities'political assistants has been one of characteristics of Chinese university. For the past 50s years, with the development of economy and reformation of higher education of China, the system of rank of universities'political assistants improved gradually. It has been found that strengthening the development of rank of universities'political assistant is important organizational assurance and long-acting system to enhance and improve the ideological and political education, maintain the stabilization of universities.In the new century, with the acceleration of reform and opening, building of modernization, deepening reformation of higher education of China, Chinese higher education has been in the period of mass instruction. There are many new challenges of ideological and political education and supervision of undergraduates. Accordingly, some measures have to be taken to strengthen the development of rank of universities'political assistants.The methods of investigation and research, sum, comprehensive analysis will be used in this paper. Based on the literature, successful experiences of others provinces'educational administrations'development of rank of universities'political assistants, fruits of past researchers'; the development of rank of universities'political assistants of China deeply will be studied deeply. By retroversion of the history and achievement of the development of rank of universities'political assistants of China, the paper will elucidate characteristics and achievements of every period, analyze status quo of the development of rank of universities'political assistants of China, summarize achievements, look up the key problems and the reasons, based on the above studies, bring forward the countermeasure and suggestions to strengthen the development of rank of universities'political assistants of China.
