Descriptive analysis and multiple logistic regression models were adopted to analyze the drinking alcohol behavior, alcohol expection and drinking alcohol knowledge.Results:1.The prevalence rates of alcohol use in college students was 68.45%.The male rate of alcohol use(85.09%) was significantly higher than the female rate(55.98%) (x2=82.81,P<0.01).60.51%of the alohol user drank less six times per year, 58.64%of them drank less than one bottle(600ml beer) per time. The age of the first alcohol use was between 6 and 22 years old.The median of the first alcohol use were 18,but 45.93%of the students who drank were under 18 years old when they first drank.41.19%of drinkers were with their friends when they first drank,68.98%of the drinkers usually drank beer,43.10%of drinkers drank in public house, and 36.60%at home. The drunkenness rate of drinkers was 54.41%,3.90%of the drinkers were often drunken;17.9%of the drinkers disturbed their regular life on account of drunkenness, most of them could not finish their study task timely. The results showed that the rate of alcohol use, drunkenness, the capacity for liquor, the burden of alcohol use,the stess between male and female students were significant different which the values of Pearson Chi-Square tests were 82.81(P<0.01),39.97 (P<0.01),60.05(P<0.01),18.04(P<0.01),4.09(P<0.05).The students whose parents drink heavily and had positive attitude to their alcohol use,had less drink behaviours. The multivariable logistic regression model showed that gender, smoking, the average living cost per month, recognion of dinking alcohol, alcohol expection was positively associated with college students' drink use.The odds ratios(ORs) of them were 3.559(95%CI:2.397~5.285),1.664 (95%CI:1.384~2.000),3.931(95%CI:1.519~10.172),1.615(95%CI:1.143~2.282), 15.677(95%CI:6.682~36.782),respectively.The attitude and behavior of parents to drink were negatively associated with college students' drink use.The odds ratios (ORs) of them were 0.435(95%CI:0.311~0.609),0.547(95%CI:0.405~0.741).2.77.03%of the participants had negative expection with alcohol use.The prevalence rate of alcohol use who had positive expection was 96.97%which was significant higher than 59.94%of students who had negative expections(χ~2=6.25, P<0.05).65.85%of male students and 85.40%of female students had positive expections of alcohol drink which the difference was significant(χ~2=45.55,P<0.05). 53.33%of the students whose parents had positive attitude to their alcohol use had passive alcohol expection.73.65%of the students whose parents had neutral attitude had passive alcohol expectanion.87.26%of the participants whose parents had negative attitude had passive alcohol expection.Multiple logistic regression model showed that alcohol use and gender were postively associated with alcohol expection which their ORs were 1.941(95%CI:1.367~2.755),15.555(95%CI:6.737~35.914), respectively. The parents' attitude toword alcohol drinking was negatively associated with alcohol Expection which its OR was 0.577(95%CI:0.399~0.836).3.45.82%of participants,49.49%of female and 40.92%of male students had high degree of recognition with alcohol use.The difference of recognition between female and male students was significant(x~2 =6.25,P<0.05).The drinking rate of students with high degree of recognition was 72.91%which was higher than 64.67%of students with low degree of recognition(x~2=6.73,P<0.01).Multiple logistic regression model showed alcohol use and gender were negatively associated with degree of recognition of alcohol use which their ORs were 0.611(95%CI: 0.448~0.833),0.718(95%CI:0.538~0.958),respectively. Conclusions:It is common phenomenon that the students drink in Yantai colleges, and some of students who were investigated had serious alcohol behavior. Most of the participators posses negative expection in alcohol drinking but lack correct recognition on knowledge of alcohol-related knowledges. The forming and change of students' alcohol use were involved with not only students' knowledge structure, conception of value, but also their family, school, peers and social environment. The results suggest that we should enhance the intervention strength, carry out effective psychological healthy education and psychological training on students' right conception on alcohol drinking in order to reduce the serious problem resulted from alcohol use in college students.
