The technological achievements of Information Age and economic globalization have changed the world, the world is becoming flat. Developed countries have taken the direction from the Information Age to Conceptual Age."The new American workforce skills Committee" noted that the global economy has not only requires students to learn the traditional subjects, but also require them to have "21st century skills." At the same time, Teacher Professional Development has insufficient skills to deal with kids in Conceptual Age. Undoubtedly, this is a severe challenge of the Teacher Professional Development.This paper take "Conceptual Education in Haiyan" as an example, collected data from June 2008 to March 2009.There are two research promote teacher professional development: First, Conceptual Educational Philosophy, and the other is Conceptual instructional design.Specifically, this study was completed the following tasks:1. Analysis characteristics of Conceptual Age, and how to promote teacher professional development.2. Integrate the traditional Instructional Design methods and Conceptual Education and The Wisdom of Crowds to extract Conceptual instructional design methods.3. Use data to analysis Conceptual Education and Conceptual Instructional Design how to promote Teacher Professional Development.4. New ways of thinking in current Teacher Professional Development.5. A simple analysis of influencing factors in Conceptual Education.6. The collection of First-hand information on Conceptual Education.Finally, summarize the current teacher professional development in ConceptualAge, and make a research suggestion to readers in the further.
