Citizens'scientific literacy has been linked to the comprehensive national strength. To cultivate students' scientific literacy has been concern around the world. View on Science- Technology-Society (STS) is an important component of scientific literacy. For a long time, STS approach, as to cultivate students' view on STS, has been well received by the teachers. Typically, the teacher use group discussion, brainstorming and other forms of STS teaching strategies to organize STS approach. With the constant improvement of science resources, the STS approach of using science resources began to receive widespread attention the society.The study used quasi-experimental research methods. Through a large number of information inquiry, a large number of science resources utilization and STS approach design material have been obtained. Such information is the based on the theory and practice of the quasi-experimental research. According to domestic and foreign researchers on the use of science museums, the study established the instructional design of water unit and carry out STS teaching practice. After the teaching practice, using the date of the"View on STS"to demonstrate the STS approach of using science resources is effective. The questionnaire is based on former assessment instrument, and combines with the teaching content of the water unit. Questionnaire, including 10 multiple-choice items, mainly test the students view on"the definitions of science/technology/society","the relationship between science and technology", and"science, technology, social impact between". The results in the following two aspects:First, the STS approach of using science resources can improve the students understanding of STS. From the perspective of qualitative research, the STS approach emphasizes the integration of teaching situation and students'active construction of learning, which is conducive to their view on science, technology and society. From the perspective of quantitative research, the experimental group, who adopting the STS approach of using science resources was significantly higher than the traditional model of teaching students in the post-test of"view on STS".Second, different teaching approach led to different levels of view on STS. In the three aspects of view on STS, comparison group master much better than experimental group in grasping of"the definitions of science, technology and society". However,experimental group master much better than comparison group in grasping of"the relationship between science and technology".
