In the past 50 years,the United States National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) has made tremendous achievements to become one of the most successful professional sports organizations. As a successful professional sports organization, NASCAR's public relations contributed a lot and played a huge role in its growth and development.This article,based on a large number of first-hand information,by means of literature,expert interviews, case analysis and comparative analysis,putting NASCAR's public relations as the research object,combing the NASCAR's public relations process,outlines the NASCAR public relations organizational structure, class and object,fpcuses on the NASCAR public relations practice.This article sums up the characteristics of NASCAR public relations and its significance of its impact on China's sports organizations by means of public communication content,means and ideas.This study concluded that:NASCAR's public relations have gone through a relatively tortuous process of development, level improving from low to high and the type from single to multiple. Public Relations ideas improved from scratch and its advanced concept guided the public relations practice. Many factors ensured public relations work can be carried out smoothly, like its comprehensive and complete organizational comprehensive and complete organizational structure, its job set reasonable, professional public relations practitioners and public relations division of fine object. Under the guidance of the advanced concepts, public relations presented its practice forms diversified, rich in content and an evident effect.The successful NASCAR public relations proved its great importance on the development of professional sports organizations,its influence over all aspects of professional sports organizations.Sports organizations contact the target audience by public relations and establish a good relationship with them and finally achieve the organizational goals;whereas the audience can get more benefits through understanding sports organizations. Research on the NASCAR public relations also contributes for us to fully acknowledging, understanding and evaluation on public relations. At present,the development of our professional sports is at the crucial moment, although our situation is different from America, the certain aspects of NASCAR public relations is still worthwhile to study and learn from.
