Currently, with the decent of graduates' employment reality, many postgraduates changed their mind of"must being a college lecturer", and faced the problem of career reposition. In recent years, many masters in author's subject- Language Curriculum and Instruction, came into middle schools and engaged in teaching. This study focuses on the employment situation of postgraduates in author's subject and examines the effect of three years training upon their career and achievements.The author elaborates the form of teacher's"practical knowledge". In this paper, the term"practical knowledge of education"refers to the teacher's"practical knowledge". The author attempts to determine how these"Master of Education"equipped with considerable educational theories to deal with secondary school teaching challenges; how their practical knowledge formed through theories and practices; what role their academic literacy trained in the postgraduate stage played for practical knowledge of education; and how should we approach the growth of"Master of Education"in secondary schools.This paper employs qualitative method and presents through narrative. Narrative research focus on: what had happened in a certain time and the certain scene? How did the hero think, respond, feel and perceive these things? The author employs this research method is because that it is in line with what's been working on, and coincide with the author's current research interests. Narrative is neither to draw a universal conclusion, nor to build theoretical systems. The author hopes this study could enable the readers to pay more attention to the growth of the Master of Education in secondary schools.The author went to middle school to do tracking investigation and collect materials by teaching observation, interviews, analysis and other physical means. Through the participation of intensive observation, objective and comprehensive data collection, the paper entered the research object A's real-life world. On the basis of the analyze of A's story, this paper seeks to reveal the educational trait in the practical knowledge.The overall framework of the paper is as follows:First, the author outlined the practical knowledge of education , introduced the meaning of the concept , explained some of the factors affecting the formation of practical knowledge of education. Secondly, this paper presents A' formative experiences in education and also the discoveries in teaching.Again, it was through the analyze of A's story from the point of the practical knowledge of education that this paper intended to reveal the composition of practical knowledge, and also its formation and main ways. This is the core of this paper.Finally, this paper made out the author's thought in the growth of the Master of Education in high school, its formation practical knowledge of education.Through the story of a Master of Education, this paper was to reveal the formation and the main ways of the practical knowledge of education. The author hopes to have certain experience to draw on for the following postgraduate students who will work in a high school. What's more is to offer some enlightenment for the Master of Education who is in school or has been a undergraduate in a normal college and also the teacher or the researcher in educational units, which can be useful to promote the development of the Master of Education, and help them to be a better teacher.
