As the most fundamental and important content in Physics, physics concepts play a vital role in understanding and gaining the knowledge of physics. We can safely draw the conclusion that physics concepts are the foundation in learning physics, and that only students lay a good foundation can they learn physics well. Therefore, physical concept teaching plays an important role in the whole process of physics teaching, each physics educator should pay more attention to it.We have found that all the physics educators acknowledged the importance of physics concepts in all kinds of papers, but we rarely find them conducting research in physics concept form a very subtle point of view. So I want to have my own research in physics concept form a very specific perspective. In this thesis, the research foundations are the theories in Educational Psychology and Conceptual Change Teaching Theory, and acceleration concept is the mean point of this thesis, questionnaires are also used to investigate the teaching situation of acceleration in high school. First, it analyzes the related knowledge in physics teaching by investigating the papers of nearly 25 years about my research, including concept introduction and teaching methods in physics teaching. It also does some research in some basic theories of Cognitive Psychology, Constructivism Psychology and Humanistic Psychology and get the concept of teaching in four steps:introduction, establishment, application and feedback. Secondly, it obtains some conclusions about concept teaching in physics by analyzing the data of questionnaires.Thirdly, it compares some instructional design of acceleration concept and summarizes a new instructional design of acceleration. Finally, it gives seven recommendations to physics teachers in concept teaching of acceleration.
