A Study Of The Student Teachers' Concerns About Teaching

Teachers are the actual enablers of the education business, education activies which teachers are engaged in will affect the results and function of education and the the rate of social progress. Teachers have good performace or not is closely related to what teachers concern in the teaching process. What teachers concern in the teaching process will affect the teachers'teaching efficiency. Obviously, all teachers will pay attention to their teaching affairs. However, owing to the different focus on the problems concerned, they own different teaching goals and methods, and which finally influence students'study. Therefore, to improve the teaching quality, the teaching concerns of teachers must be clarified and concerned, so that teaching environment is well formed. Along with the development of the new curriculum reform, the society especially the scholars should pay extensive attention to the teaching concerns of teachers.The aim of the research is to explore the current situation and the influencing factors of the student teachers'concerns about the teaching process. The samples of the questionnaire are 295 student teachers from 9 departments of the Northeast Normal University, and interview with 6 student teachers. For analyzing the data of the study, frequency analysis, T test and one-way ANOVA are used. At last, according to the results of the reseach, some suggestions are given to the school and student teachers.We can get some results of the reseach:In a word, student teachers always pay more attention to the time of class. In different stages, student teachers have different concerns. The influencing factors of the student teachers'concerns about the teaching process includ gender, profession, school, grade, class and experience of the student teachers. Apart from these, the policies, environment and tutors of school the student practiced in all affect the student teachers'concerns about the teaching process.
