The Research On The Developing Factors And Countermeasures Of Influencing The Basketball Population In Beijing Middle School

Basketball is developing at an unprecedented pace around the world, while the pace of China is relatively slow. Beijing, as China's political, economic and cultural center, its development has a great influence to the popularity and improvement of basketball in various provinces and cities. The study takes the Beijing middle-school students as the object, and the sports population theory as the foundation, conducting the in-depth basketball demographic research to Beijing Middle school by the methods of using literature material, expert interview, questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics. This survey defined the concept of basketball population and criteria, highly checked in to the current situation of basketball population in Beijing Middle School, aimed to find influencing factors, which hinder the development the of basketball population. So this thesis can not only provide a suggestion for the administration of the basketball association but also promote China's basketball comprehensive and the sustainable development of China's basketball. The findings of this paper are as follows:1. The basketball population refers to the social group which is made up of individuals and has statistics significance, who take part in the basketball activity continually by oneself or carries on professional training systematically in certain time, certain region to promote the physical and moral health or improve sport result as a goal. The Judgment standard of the basketball population is that the frequency of basketball activity is 3 or above 3 times every week, the time of basketball activity above 30 minutes each time, the intensity of basketball activity above medium degree each time.2. The proportion of Beijing Middle school basketball population is high. Certain disparity exist between the urban and the suburb, the male students and the female students. The basketball population's structure is imbalanced in age and national. The main forms of action of the basketball population are companion organization and the school organization. The subjective motive is mainly to build the body and enjoy the entertainment whiles the objective motive is mainly influenced by friends and schools.3. There are many factors affecting the development of Beijing Middle school basketball population which include the advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are the good basketball atmosphere in the middle schools, the economic support of the Beijing government, the conscious idea of the students, basketball game which is suitable for students and so on. The advantages are that the government department lacks surveillance and the inspection on the physical education classes, the basketball class hours are few and disperses, basketball facility and the sports fund is deficient, the students have less opportunities participating in the basketball game and have insufficient interest in the basketball game, some schools do not value the extracurricular basketball activity and some guardians do not support the student to participate in the basketball activity.4. The all should work together to develop the basketball population of Beijing Middle school. Specifically speaking, the government should support basketball in middle schools, enhance the establishment of the gyms, and reform the system of the reserved athletes. The schools should establish the tournament system of the youth, reform the management system of school sport and hold many kinds of basketball activities. The society should hold more basketball competitions, open more basketball gyms. And the individuals should cultivate the basketball interest. The families should support the students to play basketball.
