By using AHP, this paper integrated population distribution and migration, populationquality and population structure as population active factors, at the same time by takinginter-provincial data of2000to2010, it also established Panal Data model and explored theeffect of population activity during the period of economic growth in this region. Through theeconometric analysis the author found that: There is a long-term and stable relationshipbetween population active factors and economic growth. Population activity and populationdistribution and migration of labor as a factor promoting endogenous variables affecteconomic growth; population activity, population quality and demographic factors as thequality of capital endogenous promoting variables have a significant influence on economicgrowth. Meanwhile, the introduction of various population active factors have differentdegrees of impact on total factor productivity, TFP changes by which produces a long-termchange in trend factor inputs contribution rate impact.Population activity was "Gradient difference”, Northeast, the Pearl River Delta, YangtzeRiver of population of each active economically developed provinces is on a high degree, theNorthwest population of the less developed regions and cities is conversely. Moreover, inter-provincial level of activity showed an increasing trend year by year. The results showed thatactivity in the population factors, population quality factors are determinants of populationactivity, the population quality level is high then the active population is high, and vice versa;followed by the population distribution and migration factors, in addition to individualregions, changes in demographic trends and population movements Activity indexmovements in the index are consistent. Finally, though demographic factors are not the levelof activity determinants of population, demographic composition of the population will alsoaffect the level of activity as a basis for regional population.Affected by the activity of population, economic growth presents significant differencesbetween regions: GDP per capita in the country fixed effects31provinces, municipalities andautonomous regions have the advantage of Chongqing, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Xinjiang, Sichuan,Shanghai, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong, Tianjin; in the middle reaches of the region Qinghai,Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Jilin, Hunan, Hubei, Heilongjiang; in the downstream area of Henan, Hebei, Hainan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Guangdong, Gansu,Fujian, Beijing, Anhui. Per capita GDP has the advantage of a fixed effect in some provinces.Population distribution and migration are suitable, the population has the high quality, and theaging is relatively on a low degree, industrial structure is reasonable, and also withconsiderable potential for growth in terms of GDP. The regional distribution of populationdensity, due to the impact of population factors and unreasonable restrictions of industrystructure, GDP growth is in a narrow space. Therefore, the region’s population adjusted GDPto create a favorable development.
