The Exploration Of Chinese Girl Students' Autonomy Construction In High Education In Modern Time

Feminists apply gender perspective to reveal the gender prejudice in education under the standpoint of gender neutrality; they hope education can respect the girls'perception, special experience, thought, sez, etc. To abolish gender discrimination through gender equality education based on gender differences, they advocate achieving each other's autonomy in mutual contact. The feminist theories of education provide the construction of girl students'autonomy in China with special perspective and inspiration. Based on feminist theories of education, I try to explore the strategies of developing the girl students'autonomy in high education in china.My essay can be divided into five parts; in the first part I introduce the meaning, method, basic concept of feminism and the feminists'study on gender problem in high educationIn the second part I conclude the development of feminist theories of education, their theory basis and their key characters. And I emphasize their concept of autonomy and their thoughts on the construction of gender equality education.In the third part I focus on the development of Chinese girl students' autonomy in high education and define the intension of the girl students' autonomy, and then I introduce the state and problems in the development.In the fourth part I analyze the factors that restrict the Chinese girl students' autonomy in high education and reveal the historical development of Chinese women's autonomy, main commercial culture and the neutral education to all boys and girls are the primary cause for the shortage of Chinese girl students'autonomy development.In the fifth part I put forward the strategies for constructing Chinese girl students' autonomy in high education, primarily from gender equality strategy,construction of advanced gender culture and the reform of high education.
