The Research On Characteristics Of Men And Women Fouls In High Level Football Match

As the modern soccer as a sport developing,soccer players'technical and tactical level is promoting rapidly,especially in women soccer games,the tactics and order of the team is tending to men,games performance even impetuosity,fierce and body touch get frequently, so this must bring some unreasonable technical conduct. One of the foul play may direct effects the final score, so foul of the players is as important as the goal wining, attract more and more attention of the coaches, players and the referees,and it has become a important part in football game training.According to the research on technical status of 57 games of 32 teams in Women World Cup 2007 and European Cup Soccer Championship 2008,With the research methods of literature study, investigation, video observation and statistics, this thesis researches on the foul characters of high-level players in Women World Cup and Men's European Cup Soccer Championship, made the following conclusions:1,In the two games, men players were given more fouls and red or yellow cards than women players, but there is no obvious difference in average foul numbers and red,yellow cards between the top eight and the eight teams at the back. And there is no obvious difference in the average number of fouls and cards in the group games and elimination matches.2,In the two games,there is no obvious difference in the average number of fouls of the first and the second half. But cards numbers in the first half is much less than in the second half. The last 15 minutes of the second half is the period that fouls most often, the starting 15 minutes of the second half is the period that players given most cards.3,In the two games,the foul area of men and women players is focus in the mid-court, and fouls in the back court is less than in the front. but gains more cards in the back court.4,In the two games,men and women centre-forwards have the most fouls and cards, the defenders comes secondly, forwards least. In the two games, The foul part of men and women players present the following, legs foul > arm foul > body foul, others occupies less. Foul manner of men player present the following six kinds, kick, push, interception, trip and throw, jump, pull.5,In the two games,man or women players given cards for unsporting behavior, among this , while in interception , unreasonable behavior when slide tackle hurts opponent or break up opponent's possession was given much more cards. From the point of red card character, men players given for their violent behavior and break up opponent's goal chance, while women were because the second warning in one game.This thesis make statistics of men and women players in high level football match aims at find out their own foul characteristics of men and women, propose theoretical basement for men and women players,coaches in learning. Meanwhile, it also can give a theoretical basement during our referees study, promote their management level, pay attention in the difference of men and women fouls, make sure the game go on wheels, and the both players working in order.
