A Study On The Characteristics Of The Application Of Feints With The Ball In The 16th European Football Championship

Feint technique is an important technique in football,which plays an irreplaceable role in the game.Fake actions have many uses in football matches.The players who are good at making use of fake actions must be the players with extraordinary personal skills.They can use fake actions to pass,control,break through,catch and shoot the ball in any complex competition situation.In football matches,besides technology and physical strength,what is more important is tactical strategy.Adding feints in football tactics can cover up the real purpose of the attack,making the success rate of tactics higher.Therefore,many high-level teams will add feints in their tactical arrangements.The European Football Championship is a great event in the field of football.The team represents the highest level of competition in Europe,which can be used as a strong basis for the study of feints.This paper uses the methods of literature,video observation,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,case study,etc.to explore the ball feint technology of the16 th European Football Championships.By observing the game video and recording the application of ball feint technology of each team,the paper analyzes the relevant data logically and obtains the characteristics of the ball feint technology used in this game.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)In the first half of the group stage,the number of ball feints appeared in the first period of the first half,and the number of feints in the fifth period of the second half was the least;The period characteristics of knockout matches and group matches are similar,but the difference between different periods of knockout matches is more obvious,the proportion of fake action in the first period of the first half is larger,and the proportion of fake action in the fifth period of the second half is less.(2)The areas with ball feints are concentrated in central midfield,wide midfield and wide front,and the characteristics of these areas are similar between the group stage and the knockout stage.(3)Defenders and midfielders used fake more times than strikers,and the number of defenders and midfielders used fake with ball was similar.Defenders and midfielders use fake kicks and passes more often to pass and control the ball,while forwards use fakes more often to break through defences,create shots and pass threatening goals.(4)Players use the feint technique most at a defensive distance of 1-2 meters.There is a significant difference in the distance between players in the group stage and the knockout stage in using feint technique and defenders.Players fake best when the defender is closing down fast,but also when their backs are to the defender.(5)The ball feint technique is used to control the ball the most times in the game,followed by passing.There is a significant difference in players’ intention of using feint between the group stage and the knockout stage.Compared with the group stage,the proportion of feint used for controlling the ball is much less in the knockout stage,while the proportion of feint used for passing the ball is much more.(6)The fakes most commonly used by players are fake pass and fake kick,fake pass/fake kick spike is the most common combination of true and false movement techniques,and the rest of the fakes are left and right fake shake,left and right fake shake,left and right outside straddle,left and right outside straddle dip.
