Research On The Plight And Construction Mechanism Of The Interpersonal Trust In "Semi-acquaintance Society"

Social relationships is one of the most basic and important propositions in sociology. It connects the members of society with social action, social organization, social structure, social system and social culture coming together. Of course, it is the core concepts to explain and analysis many social problems and social theory. Trust is the foundation of social relationships and the lubricant of social interactions, in the same time, social trust itself is a very important social relations. Because if there is no basic trust, social cooperation can not be carried out, social organizations and groups can not be established, members of society will be in anxiety and the social order will not be in order. It can be seen that trust is very important to the society as the air in people's life. Interpersonal trust is the micro areas of social trust, so we can see the whole picture of social trust by way of researching the interpersonal trust. In this paper, I do a lot of work on summarizing the previous research on trust in the first: I do some brief review on the examination status about trust from three disciplinary perspectives-- psychology, economics and sociology; I also carding the nature and implications of social trust in the sociological explanation; In the last, I do some research on the type and the change of social trust. After finishing the preparatory work, the paper explores the plight of interpersonal trust in Semi-acquaintance Society under the background of social transformation. In a word, the Absence of the interpersonal trust mechanism which adjusts to the Semi-acquaintance Society is the major reason why there is so much plight with interpersonal trust.: on one hand, Acquaintance Society's interpersonal trust mechanism lost its utilities partly; on the other hand, the Stranger Social's interpersonal trust mechanisms isn't perfect, yet. Therefore, if we want to improve the Semi-acquaintance Society's status of interpersonal trust and break through the plight of interpersonal trust, we must pay more attention to the constructions of middle organizations, institutions and social culture. Then we perhaps have a new interpersonal trust mechanism which adapts to the social character in Semi-acquaintance Society.
