As key active factor that contributes to the success of educational activities, teachers are playing more and more important role in teaching and educating under comprehensive social expectation. Therefore, during recent decades, teacher professional development comes to be inevitable requirement by our era.Influences that have impact on teacher professional development come from teacher's individual characteristics, school environment, and development methods, with teacher's willingness on professional development taking the most essential effect. The kind as well as the degree of willingness determines whether all the efforts on teacher professional development can be fruitful.Most of the contemporary researches on teacher professional development focus on the approaches, methods and school environments, with little attention on teachers themselves, especially on teacher's subjective willingness. This research takes teacher's willingness on professional development as respect, searching for factors working on their willingness from school environments.School management system, teacher's sense of being master and participation in school management activities can help to increase their devotion into professional development. Teacher's individual situation, including good health, pleased working mood, satisfaction on income, sense of accomplishment and hardship to certain extent contribute to enhancement of teacher's willingness of professional development. Those teachers who take students'development as educational purpose are more active in professional development, sufficient communication on campus can help to enhance teacher's enthusiasm on professional development. Further more, harmonious relationships between colleagues are helpful to improvement of teacher's inner accomplishment, good relationship between teachers and students can bring teachers happiness on work, waking up their willingness of improving educational background.
