Human beings can not exist independently from the language environment, and they always reach aim of understanding things through the analysis of language environment. This criteria is the same to secondary Chinese reading teaching, only according to the language of the environment of the text itself, students are able to understand the authors'idea that he intend to express, only by combining its own context meaning into texts, we can achieve the goal of understanding, memorizing and applying the knowledge.In this paper, firstly, by literature review, systematic research, historical research and survey, the author makes an overview and analysis of context theory, and then according to a series of shortcomings that affect teaching effectiveness in Chinese reading teaching and based on the basic functions and principles of the context, the author makes a specific analysis of the objective and subjective factors that constitutes the context teaching in senior school. Besides, the author explores the request of context in Chinese teaching, through field research; the paper summarizes the present usage situation of context reading teaching in senior school and reasons and puts forward basic strategies for Chinese reading teaching context in senior school.In this paper, the author focuses on the following two aspects. First, theoretically, to clarify that reading teaching context includes context of reading text and the context of teaching situation in which teachers'language is the main factor of the teaching context in reading teaching. Second, for the strategies for the context of reading teaching in senor school, the paper mainly points that: to select the text that suitable for students'psychology and facilitable for students'to construct in reading context teaching; teachers teaching language need to be humorous ,inspiring and emotional , and stimulate students'motivation to actively participate in classroom activities; to make good results in reading teaching context in senior school, it is need to improve the teaching environment of context to attain the aim of "teaching is applicable, application is profitable", and teachers work closely the context of context, context of background to construct a text context for students learning, more importantly, to instruct students to create context, and jointly create a stage for reading comprehension.
