Turbo Fast File Transfer System Of TMN

The charging system is a very important part of TMN. FTAM protocol of Q3 interface is the most popular protocol used in the charging file output of all the exchanges. With the development of the network and the improvement of the TMN requirement, exchange system outputs more and more data. The file transfer system based on X.25 link can't meet this requirement. So, TFFT (Turbo Fast File Transfer) is proposed in this paper.First: FTAM, the protocol about file transfer of TMN, is deeply discussed in this paper. FTAM information model is based on virtual file and virtual store. FTAM supports file operation from different systems, that means FTAM has nothing to do with the system on file transfer and file treatment. Second: Disk Array is introduced to TFFT. The SCSI interface is modified to satisfy the requirement of EWSD. Last: Network management software is developed reference on Q3 protocol to implement all the functions of file transfer defined in TMN.This paper solves the bottle neck problem of file output in EWSD exchange. It provides a solution to fulfil hot billing, improve the accuracy of service in statistics and backup the system software. It is also a suggestion to the similar problems.
