The Primary Design Of "the Project Of Digital Chengdu University Of Technology

Digitizing is a trend of high technology of the world. With the rapid progress of techonologies of earth observingjnternet, virtual reality and the development of NSDI(National Spatial Database Infrastructure),many conceptions ,such as digital earth ,digital city and digital university have been submitted and are practising.As the front of the research and application of hi-tech,university have to be the undertaker of researching, developing and applicating ,and their first task is to practise project of digital university .It is to satisfy the needs of modern management of university to practise the Project of Digital Chengdu University of Technology.improve gee-information sharing and make the geo-information to be scale at the same time.The thesis put forward the primary design and the work flow of the Project of Digital Chengdu University of Technology.In the surveying field, digital photogrammetric surveying, which improves efficency and data accuracy, almost have taken the place of tranditional field observation method. We use the data management system which mixed file and relational database to managment data. Using this method we can query and maintance the graphic data and attribute data in the same module after programming with system interface.This paper realized the resource sharing between geographical data and non-geographical data using ArcSDE and SQL SERVER. Users can query and modify the geographical data through this system which programmed with Visual Basic and MapObject in the C/S module.The Project of Digital Chengdu University of Technology set up the house property management system and other MISes,which realized the integrating between the GIS and MIS . It will make great benefits in managing our university and OA (Offical Auto), improve the leades's managment capability and management efficence, make a good base for the wide conception of Digital Chengdu University of Technology.
