Differing from existing expert systems, a new general expert system for substation working arrangement & switching sequence is proposed in this thesis. During its development, many excellent characteristics of Object-oriented Programming, such as inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation etc. are adequately utilized. Besides automatically printing out the sheet with working arrangement content and the sheet with switching sequence, this expert system has many managing function, such as saving and querying the written sheets.
