The process resources of manufacturing include physical resources and technical resources directly associated with the process of product. The physical resources includes machines, cutters, fixtures, measuring tools etc, while technical resources includes processing margin, cutting amount, knowledge of process etc. Being the source of information in the process of product, the process resources of manufacturing plays a key role in the integrated CAD/CAPP system. The object of developing process resources management system based on network technology is to share process resources information and offer relatively coherent process resources. It can improve process data's veracity and consistency in whole enterprise, and adapt to computer and network's application anddevelopment in manufacturing.Being associated with the project "CAPP_PM System of DongFang Steam Turbine Works", this paper put forward a configuration and an implementing scheme of distributed process resources management system for mechanical manufacturing, and searched after the key technology of software development. This paper's main conclusions are as follows:l.This paper presents the meaning of building distributed process management in integration CAPP, particular set forth the technology principle and implement method of process resources management system.2. This paper puts forward the function need and concrete implement scheme. The process resources management can manage the enormous increasing process resources data of Dongfang Steam Turbine Works3. This paper puts forward the system structure, function modules and effect of process resources management system on basis of distributed ideas. The management system realized the function such as query, add, delete and modification manipulation and so on. The system has the advantage of simplicity and convenience in manipulation, high efficiency for lookup and visual for query course.4. In the application development of system software, based on object-oriented procedure design method to implement the application development with reason and optimize, to accomplish maintaining and expanding the system procedure. In this system, the user could manipulate in amity, visual and convenient interface.
